Welcome to my blog site

I am an Evangelist commisioned for work in the Church of England (Diocese of Rochester) and parish of St Paulinus, Crayford

My primary role as an Evangelist is to help seekers respond to Christ, and to help others recover their faith.

One of the ways in which I help seekers to respond is through preaching the Word of God, for which I have an additional permission granted by the Bishop of Rochester.

I have initially set up this blog site to allow those not present during my sermons the opportunity to still hear the message and additionally, to allow access to review the message at a later time and to hopefully create an opportunity for dialogue through comments.

I hope that you get something from your visit to my site and I welcome any comments that you may wish to leave.

But most of all I pray that you will find faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour.

    1. Thankyou so much for visiting my site and I am glad you like the title. It always feels like I’m in a bit of a wilderness! I have always admired and been amazed of the sheer courage of all those great prophets of old, but I suppose I shouldn’t really be that surprised as God will always provide what we need to do His work.
      Blessings to you

  1. Roger,
I have just read your blog, sometimes I feel when you give your sermons it is directed at me!! Really enjoyed it, though I havnt been to church for a very long time I still remember some of the quotes that you say. Looking forward to the next reading.
    God bless

    1. Kevin,
Thank you for your kind comments. It is always encouraging, albeit humbling to know that God can use me as a mouthpiece. I am glad you feel as though God is speaking directly to you….perhaps he is?
      Blessings

  2. Keep up the good work Roger. I strive for right to prevail and to show love, kindness and compassion to all. I believe in existence beyond this mortal life. I feel that what we do in life echoes in eternity. I see evil around us but also many ordinary angels have helped me on life’s journey and continue to do so. The earth is evidence to me of a spirit, a life and a miracle existing all around us renewed by some unseen hand which sustains us all. I believe in the power of good to ultimately triumph over evil.
Despite all this, Christian faith eludes me. One day perhaps! Nevertheless I find your words inspiring and fascinating.
    God bless.

Thankyou for taking the time to read/listen to my sermon and especially for making such a personal comment, it is appreciated.By the sounds of it you are already open to the world of the supernatural which is the first big leap to taking a step of faith with the Lord. The world of theology and faith is a fascinating one, but if the Christian faith is eluding you at this time I would suggest you build on that openess that you already possess and then read some credible prophecy books or commentaries that may help in joining up the dots from the Old to the New Testament and I think you might be surprised by what the historical evidence alone implies about the authority of Jesus. Of course as a Christian I believe that God Himself will speak directly to all that call on His name, so a simple conversation with Him will be answered in a way that may surprise you!
Blessings to you this Christmas time.
      Roger
